So true. In the simplest sense it takes the energy of courage to perform a fearLESS act as well as what frightens. I believe as homo sapiens we still require this emotion even though we've developed so many ways to keep the wolf at bay so to speak. Sometimes it's like a worm in the heart, other times it can save us. Intriguing subject. I enjoy your thoughts on "perfect love" however I can't abide any definition of perfection hence I truly feel "perfect" anything is an impossible reach to make. And actually I'd be suspicious of anyone professing such an emotion, there is no true perfection in anything I'd say, and I'm relieved by that tenet. Btw thank you for your recent comment, it was thought provoking and make a clever point.

Recent blog post: Inner Space Connects To Outer SpaceCharleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06945266833406042995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5893677055178947530.post-80928487698702758392009-04-30T16:10:00.001-07:002009-04-30T16:10:00.001-07:00I, like Rebecca, appreciate your view.
However, I ...I, like Rebecca, appreciate your view.
However, I feel you're looking too deep on the topic. Some things aren't always what they seem, so we tend to look too far into something simple.
Courage is in the eye of the beholder.
It might be loving someone with your entire being.
Maybe confronting something OR someone in life that's borthering you, is courage.
For me, it's giving myself entirely & finally putting my faith & trust in someone who loves me, for me.
And for you? Perhaps it's as simple as speaking directly from your heart, which is where I believe most of your words come from.
To speak so freely & with such intelligence, you feel strong, like you can do anything.Charleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06945266833406042995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5893677055178947530.post-52237405750927079322009-04-30T09:04:00.001-07:002009-04-30T09:04:00.001-07:00Courage........

I've seen so many people, myself included that showed courage in the face of something that had nothing to do with fear. Is it perfect love? I don't know. Is it confidence? Does it hold hands with fear? All questions I imagine I'll always ask.
Rebecca

Recent blog post: Daily Writing, Is BestCharleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06945266833406042995noreply@blogger.com
